VAN DER MOER, Maria "Riet" Wilhelmina
(nee Bernoster)

Passed away peacefully on
Friday, June 4, 2021 at
Modbury Hospital,
surrounded by her loving
family.

Aged 88 years.

Loving wife of Harm (deceased).
Much loved Mum, Oma and
Opoe of Dick, Jope, Marianne,
Ben and their families.
Cherished daughter of the late
Johannes Bernoster,
Maria and Karel Verkaaik.

For Mum
Thank you Mum for your life,
your love and being my Mother.
Where would I be?
I miss you but the memories
are in a safe place: my heart.
Hope they keep the sorrow away
now you're not here.
I am so glad you are at peace,
with Pop and all those you loved.
It's too painful to say goodbye!
Farewell then, for now, with all
my love, heart and soul.
Till we meet again.

Dank je wel Moeder,
voor alles. Tot ziens.
Jouw zoon, Dingeman.

Mum and Oma
There are no words to describe
the heartache we are feeling.
It's been an emotional journey
of pure unconditional love.
Even through your darkest
hours you still managed to smile
and reach out your hands and
comfort us, as only a Mother can.
Forever in our hearts.

Jope & Sharon,
Hayley, Eoin, Kiera & Aislin,
Wade, Bec, Carter & Henley,
Kye & Riley.

To my dear Mum
My beautiful Mum, such a gentle
generous soul and an amazing Mother.
We have laughed, cried,
hugged and danced together,
shared happy times and sad times.
You were always there....
and now you're gone. I miss you.
I can no longer see your smile
or touch your face.
My heart is broken but it's ok,
your work on this earth was done.
It was time to close your eyes and fly free.
A piece of my heart has gone with you.

Marianne xx

Our dear Mum, Oma and Opoe
Such a big part of our lives,
always there selflessly loving
and supporting us, a devoted
Mother, Oma and Opoe.
So kind and unbelievably patient,
yet you had an incredible inner strength.
You have given us gifts so
precious that no money can buy-gifts
that will stay with us forever.
We will miss your smile,
your laugh and that cheeky sense
of humour, but most of all
we will just miss you.

Loved always by
Marianne & Bob,
Kristie, Karel, Max & Haila.
Rachel, Sam, Millie & Maisie.
xxxxxxxxxx

To our Mum and Oma
Dear Mum, you have always
showed incredible strength and
determination right from the
time you left your homeland with
your family to start a new life.
Through hardship and adversity
there was never a complaint.
You were always there for us,
putting us first, and still showing
your love and care right to the very end.
You will be missed every day
but be forever in our hearts.

Loved Mum of Ben & Sue.
Loved Oma of Sarah & Kelly.

Greatly missed by her family
and friends in Australia
and the Netherlands.

We would like to take this
opportunity to thank the
Modbury Hospital Palliative
Care team and GP Dr. Chris Bollen
for their incredible support and care
of our Mother.
You made a difference.
