SMITH, Marian Elizabeth (nee Jantke)

6 June 2020, Aged 81 years. Passed away at home in the care of her family, after a long illness. Dearly beloved wife of Keith (deceased), and Mum to Andrew, Heather, Ian and David. Loved mother-in-law of Judy, Chris, Deb, Selena and Jacqui. Treasured and much-loved Nan/Nanna of Rachel, Michael and Danni, Nicole and Joe, Daniel, Elizabeth, Peter, Joshua, Stephanie, Tasmin, Angus, Campbell and Laura. The family would like to express their special thanks to Dr Neil Brice, Dr Gill Marshman and Professor Martin Oehler and the Burnside Hospital Oncology team for their years of care for Marian, and their deep appreciation to the team at Mary Potter Hospice and the Calvary Palliative Home Care team for their support, care and attention over the last weeks. Rest in peace. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Marian will be privately farewelled. A service of thanksgiving to be conducted at a later date.
