IANNI, Maria (nee Gioffre)

Born in Sant’ Eufemia d’Aspromonte, Reggio Calabria, Italy on 2nd April, 1924.

Passed away peacefully on 24th July, 2021.

Aged 97 years.

Beloved and caring wife of the late Francesco Ianni.

Adored and much loved Mum and mother in law of Joe and Tina, Eufemia and Eduardo, Sam and Mary, John and Pam, Tony and Maria.

Precious and loved Nonna to 14 grand-children, and great Nonna to 24 great-grand-children.

Dearly loved and respected by many relatives in Australia, Italy and America.

Mum thank you for teaching us all about love and the importance of family. Mum was an inspiration to all of her family and friends, always so loving, thoughtful and kind, what beautiful and treasured memories you leave behind. You may have left this world, but you will never leave our hearts and minds.

A very special thank you must go to Dr. Mignone for the caring of Mum over many years. The family wish to also thank the wonderful and devoted staff at Bene Aged Care, Campbelltown, for the care, and support that you have given to our dear Mum, and to all of her family.

Reunited now with her beloved Francesco, may she rest in peace.
