Born in Taurianova, RC, Italia on October 15, 1925. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 19, 2020. Aged 94 years. Beloved and devoted wife of the late Fortunato Carmelo Cirillo. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Domenico and Maria, Giuseppe and Anna Maria, Marie and Siegfried Jentner (deceased), Silvana, Caterina and Antonino Fedele, Armando and Caterina, Bruno, Gregory and Lisa, Adriana and Adam. Loving Grandmother of 30 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Daughter of Domenico Antonio and Maria Rosa (Morano) (both deceased). Daughter-in-law of Domenico Fortunato and Maria Vincenza (Timpano) (both deceased). Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Lucia and Carmelo Sareceno (both deceased), Concetta and Salvatore Caruso (both deceased), Caterina and Vincenzo Giove (both deceased), Domenica (deceased) and Salvatore Scappatura, Antonino (deceased) and Caterina, Giuseppe and Antonietta, Bruno and Angela Cirillo (both deceased), Caterina and Nazzareno Surace (both deceased). Forever loved and remembered by her family and friends in Australia and overseas. The family would like to thank Dr Mario Fantasia, all the staff at Bene Aged Care - Woodville and T.Q.E.H, for their support and care of our loving Mum. Mamma, you were a strong, vibrant, gentle, social, loving woman, you were one in a million. You bought tears and laughter throughout our lives We will hold your memories dearly, and you will always be in our hearts. God has opened up His arms to guide you to His beautiful garden to be reunited with your loved ones. Finally at peace with your loving husband. Love you for eternity Mum, from all your children.

Nonna, although we lost a part of you long ago, our hearts were full loving you, the memories of you will be with us for eternity. The hardest part about parting with you, is knowing our children will not grow up with you. We will cherish the moments we spent with you, the days of coming over after school to the smell of fresh bread and biscuits you loved to bake. A game of Briscola was always a must. Nonna we loved you then, we love you now, we’ll love you for eternity. From all your loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. “Stretch your wings and fly up high for now you are free”.

Gone are the happy days we shared together. But not the memories they last forever. When thoughts go back as they always do, We treasure the memories we have of you. Love from your brother and sister-in-law Giuseppe and Antonietta Meduri.

The summer walks to your house to be greeted with icecream and preserved peaches, Briscola nights, and baked spuds on cold winter nights in the wood oven and the love you gave us all.
