To our dearest mother, thank you for the love and devotion you gave us unconditionally, and although I may not have told you often enough you were always loved and you will be missed forever. Vince, Eileen, David and Laura. Dearest Mum. I don’t know were to start, your wish has finally come. We all know what that was. Even though you hung on the last few days with us, we could see the pain you were going through. That hurts us but you did it for us. You were always on the go. You never knew when to stop. You loved your cooking, especially your ITALIAN STYLE grape jam biscuits and your home made gnocchi. You would spend all day in that little cooking room of yours. Then you would pack them in bags and put them in the fridge and made sure that when the grandkids came over, they had to go home with a bag. I am sure a lot of your friends also got them. The grandkids always remember when they came to visit. Out came the trays of food or biscuits and if someone said no, your favourite words were "naughty girl or boy”. They always had a smile. I think it was the way you said it, they knew there was no harm in it. Mum, I will never forget every time I came over, your words were “have you eaten” and “what are you eating when you go home” then try to give me food to take home. I can’t believe you have left us. Knowing that you are pain free and resting at last with dad in heaven is a relief to all of us. Now earning your well deserved rest. Say hello to dad for me. I will always cherished my memories of you for the rest of my life. Until we meet again. Love your son, PAS Cara Mamma and Nonna, You are our inspiration and our everything. You endured so much in your life and always thought of us before yourself. You were an amazing cook and the perfect host to your many friends, family and carers, always making sure you had a plate of your delicious biscuits and the coffee percolator ready. Everyone who met you loved you, and we always will. Rest peacefully now. Love your daughter Graziella, son-in-law Leonardo, grandchildren Filippo, Belinda, Carmela, Adriana, and great-grandchildren Lucas and Nicholas Pizzino. The family wish to thank Dr Cocchiaro and all the staff at Infinite Aged Care, Kilburn for their dedicated care, compassion and support.
