The Board and State Council of Volunteer Fire Brigades Victoria were saddened to learn of the passing of Garry while on operational duties. On behalf of all CFA volunteers, the VFBV Board and members express their sincere sympathy to Garry's wife Glenda, his children Katie and Justin, grandchildren, family and fellow members and firefighters of the Portland brigade. - VFBV State President and members.
