Born in Port Said, Egypt in 1955 Sonia peacefully passed away with her family by her side on 06/03/2023 at the Laurel Hospice, Adelaide.
Aged 67 years.
Cherished and loved wife
of Adel for 44 full and
joyful years.
Cherished and loved mother and mother-in-law of Ramiz & Daniella, Reymon & Antonia, Dahlia & David.
Proud, loved and adored Teta of Christian and Alessia.
Loved daughter of the late Saad and Rose Andrawos, loved sister to Fouad and Emil. Adored Tant to her many nieces and nephews.
Dearly loved and respected by all of her family, friends and colleagues in Australia and overseas.
Sonia’s family has been overwhelmed with the love and support during her illness and wish to extend their gratitude to the doctors who supported her journey as well as the staff and volunteers at the Laurel hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in Sonia’s honour to the Hospital Research Foundation - Palliative Care Service.
May the Lord repose her soul and may she rest eternally in peace with our Heavenly Father.
