MAHER, Reverend Paul Francis PE

MAHER. _ Reverend Paul Francis PE He was ordained a Catholic priest at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Carow, Ireland, in June 1954 and arrived in the Archdiocese of Melbourne in December that year. He served as Assistant Priest in the parishes of Frankston, Moreland, Footscray, Elwood and Reservoir. In 1969 he was appointed Parish Priest of the Parish of Noble Park, followed by Malvern East (1986) and Oakleigh East (2001), until his retirement in 2006. He died on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at McCulloch House Hospice, Clayton, aged 86 years.
