The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
Papa (aka Fred/George), where do we begin? Thanks for all the memories over the years. Some of our favorite thing to look back include you jumping back 10ft in the air whenever Katherine raise her voice (which was a lot) and you hardly ever using your bloody walking stick to get off the chair and complaining you can never get up.
We will remember Licola just because we had nothing else to do, fixing the chain on your old bike just for us to break it off again to finally ask where your tools went, there was never a dull moment.
Each memory with you will end in laughter and will remember your life through to the end of ours. You made us laugh and have give us memories we will look back on all the while remembering you being a grumpy so-and-so.
Love always Katherine and Robert.
