Mark and Shari Read and their sons Nicholas, Alexander and Xavier wish to express our deep condolences to Toni, Matthew, Simon, Nicole and family on the passing of Cas.

Cas was ship’s navigator onboard Darwin All Sports/IAS Limited, charting the course to corporatization, dealing with hazards and achieving our mission. When the Read and Lukauskas families joined forces it meant all hands on deck, involving everyone in the day to day, the overseas adventures and relocation to Darwin. Cas never flinched in supporting the vision of the evolution of bookmaking – always making good omission or overreach.

His patience, loyalty, generosity of spirit and commercial experience were both an inspiration and a weapon to all on board DAS/IAS.

Cas dealt with his illness in typical form – no fuss, resolve and pure optimism. The Read family thank the Lukauskas family for sharing Cas with us.
