The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
LOUGHNANE, Harold
Pa, he was a loving husband, father, pa and the greatest Collingwood supporter but most importantly the bravest man I know. Love the little man (Reagan)
Dad, I didn’t know my heart could break and continue to beat until now. I know how lucky I was and one of my greatest blessings was to have you as my Dad. You were a loyal family man who gave us memories that will be remembered forever. I hold you tightly within my heart and there you will remain.
My life will go on without you but will never be the same.
How are we going to watch the Pies in the same old way.
Just one more time I wish we could. I will miss the times we talked about the footy, not always agreeing.
You were a man who deserved the best. Don’t worry about mum we will look after her.
Love forever Hetty
Harold, for all the times we spent together I will always be grateful.
For all the conversations that we had I will always remember that you were much more than a Father-in-law to me and you always will be.
Love Owen
Dad, you were not only my Dad you were my Friend.
All the games of footy we watched together I will miss.
Love Robby
Go Pies!
