LEAHY, Claire OAM

The members and friends of The Therry Dramatic Society will note with sadness the death on July 3rd of Therry stalwart and first life member Claire Leahy, aged 92. She joined the Society in 1945 and worked enthusiastically and tirelessly serving continuously on the Therry Council for more than 70 years in positions including President, Treasurer, Secretary and Vice President et al. A character and individual always dedicated to Therry, she was a wonderful woman who regarded all at Therry as her second family. Our "fixture in the foyer" no longer, Claire will be remembered fondly as a Therry icon. Rest in Peace.
