LATCHFORD. _ Peter Rhett. EX7RAR Passed away peacefully at SJOG in the loving arms of his wife Bev. Loved and cherished husband of Bev, Dad of Scott and Clint (dec.), Papa of Jayk and Chloe, father-in-law of Megan and Sally. Life can be so cruel to have the one you love taken from you when we had so much to do. Pete, `my Pep', thank you for sharing your life with me and being such a wonderful father to our children Scott and Clint. May you now rest in peace, delivered into the loving arms of Clint who has been waiting for his Dad to join him. You didn't deserve what you had to go through but you fought bravely with dignity, determination and hope for all that was part of your treatment for almost three years. The moment that I lost you my heart was torn in two, one filled with heartache, the other went with you. My beautiful memories spent with you have helped over the years but there have been many times throughout filled with loneliness and despair. Pete, `my Pep', I shed tears every day but know in my heart you are still with me, guiding me, always close, always near me. I will miss you, your laugh, your smile, the light in your eyes as Beau, our much loved dog came to visit you in the hospital. Thank you for all that you were and that you will continue to be, and the underlying love that you gave to me. Please know that my love for you will always live on though the great many memories that we created as a couple together, forever. _ Forever your wife, your mate, your very best friend Bev. Dad, You taught me more than you could ever know. You taught me that life is not about ourselves, but others we can positively influence. You taught me about having a laugh, a good time and not taking ourselves too seriously. You taught me there is a time and a place when actions speak louder than words. You taught me to be the best I can be. You taught me that family is everything. You taught me to have the courage to never give up in adversity. You are my Dad and I love you dearly. I will miss you forever but I know you will continue to help me for eternity mate, as you always have. _ Your son and best mate, Scott. Pete, how lucky I was to have you in my life and be loved and cared for by such a gentleman. You taught me so much in the short time that I knew you and I was always enthralled by your amazing life stories and advice. I hope that I can now make you as proud of me, as I was of you, as you so bravely fought to stay with us longer. I feel so privileged to call you my father-in-law and friend. Our special time together will forever be in my heart. I love you _ Sally.
