LANCASTER,
Kenneth Theo
1933-2017
Go in peace, darling, to be with your Lord Jesus.
Ken Lancaster was a gifted pianist and organist. He played for Botany Public School ,the Salvation Army, St Matthew's Angican Church, and St Stephen’s Anglican Church. He had an infectious sense of humour: he battled bipolar disorder and asthma; survived pneumonia; beat cancer – and insisted he would live to 120. Sadly, he was finally overwhelmed by Lewy Body Dementia.
Ken was the only child of Theo and Maisie Lancaster. He and first wife, Barbara, had sons Stephen, Ricky and Mark (both deceased). He was married to second wife, Beatrice for 44 years and had four children: Simon, Genevieve, Adam and Jeffrey. Ken will be greatly missed. We give our thanks to all who loved him. A memorial service will be conducted at St Stephen's Church Eastlakes, 10am on Friday 15th September. All friends welcome.
