LALOR, Doris Freida

LALOR (nee Beckman). - Doris Freida Late of Williamstown has passed away peacefully at the Riddell Gardens Aged Care Hostel in Sunbury on Nov. 2, 2009, aged 96. Wife of Tom; sister to Eva, Gordon, Aina, Wallace, Bob, Joan and Max; mother and mother-in-law to Peter and Esther Lalor; Pauline and Bruno Politi. Grandmother to Janita, Brett, Leanne and Allison; great grandmother to Oscar, Luke, Adam, Amelia, Flynn, Jed, Brittany, Jordon and Olympia. Doris was a tenacious and fun loving woman who loved walking, talking, and dressing up and going to Town. She loved the theatre and for 50 years was dedicated to working for the Williamstown Light Opera Company - the longest serving Life Member. Doris was generous, sharing her good fortune in life with family and friends. In the end it was Alzheimer's disease over the past three years that finally wore her down. A life well lived
