He opened his heart and home to anyone in need and he inspired all who knew him with his generosity of spirit, kindness and integrity. Remembered by all as a National treasure. DES' relatives and friends are warmly invited to a Thanksgiving Service in celebration of Des' life to be held on Thursday 2nd March at 2pm at War Veteran's Chapel in the RSL Anzac Village, 90 Veterans Parade, Narrabeen. Enter via Entrance B. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to be made to the Judith Hyam Memorial Trust for Cancer Research.
