Born 1934 in Moscow (Russia) to parents of German / Czech heritage. Oswald and his family fled war ravaged Europe by sea arriving in Australia 1951.
Much of Oswald's life was dedicated to his profession and helping people. He was also a medical researcher with sixteen published scientific papers to his name.
Oswald was one of life's quiet achievers. A very modest, intelligent, widely read man with a voracious penchant for learning.
His kind, gentle, personable demeanour along with his strong German / Czech accent will be missed by all who knew him.
Cherished memories, such as the countless happy family holidays in Dad's much loved orange VW kombi bus to his beloved Grampians, shall remain with his sons forever.
Our warmest thoughts and thanks go out to his dear relatives and friends, both here and in Germany, Switzerland and Canada who over the many years have contributed greatly towards our Father's fulfilled and happy life.
Adored and adoring long time partner of Renate (Germany).
Father to proud sons Michael, Peter and Simon and daughter-in-law Carol.
Much loved Grandpa to Andrew and Nicola.
Ruhe in Frieden Oswald.
Privately cremated.
