Dearly loved husband of Suzanne (Sue). Loved father and father-in-law of Karen and Gordon Allen, Peter and Carey-Ann. Loved grandfather (Pop) to Phillip and Caitlin, Alexander and Naomi, and Hannah, Kelsey, Julian and Sophie Allen. Great-grandfather to Mia, Jaxon and Mason.

Loved youngest son of Eric and Eileen Johnston (Bellerive). Loved brother and brother-in-law of Peter, Joan and Desmond (Mick) Riley, Geoff and Mavis, Pam and Bill MacMichael (all dec), Bob and Joy, Dorothy (Dot) and James (Jim) Freeman (both dec), William (Bill) (dec) and Jill. Loved uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
