The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
I remember the day I met you and the day you were made mine. I remember the day you went to sleep. Away until the end of time.
Among the tears and heartache, there is one thing that makes me proud; you chose me to share with you all the years we had.
The memory of you is my greatest treasure.
To love and keep you in my heart forever.
Love you. Cuddles, Peter
When I wish upon a star,
I wonder mum, where you are.
But when we see the brighter star,
I know then Mum, where you are.
Sleep my wonderful Mum and rest those weary eyes.
But I will meet you again one day and link my family ties.
Your loving son, Jake.
