ENTWISTLE, John
Of Hahndorf and Pinnaroo. Passed away peacefully at Helping Hand North Adelaide, surrounded by his loving family on April 2nd, 2021. Aged 94 Years. Dearly loved and loving husband of Gwen (deceased). Beloved elder son of Hugh and Florence Entwistle; brother of Peter (deceased), Joyce (deceased), Grace and Michael Walden-Lamotte; Carol and Lino Alessio and their families. You can shed tears that he is gone, or you can smile because he has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that he’ll come back, or you can open your eyes and see all he’s left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see him, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him only that he is gone, or you can cherish his memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back, or you can do what he’d want: Smile, open your eyes, Love and go on. Much loved and devoted father and father-in-law of Helen and Henry, John and Margaret, Robert and Julie-Anne, David and Toni, Catherine and Kym, also Grant (deceased). Beloved grandfather and grandfather-in-law of Jason, Stephen and Catherine, Rebecca and Joel; Victoria, Susannah, Jessica and Laura; Sarah (deceased), Simon and Jamie, Lisa; Michelle and Matt; Shane, Kylie and Chris, Karen and Nathan and Tammy. Dearly loved by his great grandchildren Hannah and Eve, Chloe and Alice; Isabella and Eden, Charlotte and Aaliyah; Sarah and Alexis, William and Harper and Stephanie. Now At Peace Sincere thanks to all at Helping Hand North Adelaide, who cared for Dad, he regarded you all as part of his family and we appreciate how very well you tended to him. That man is a success- who has lived well, laughed often and loved much; who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of children; who has filled his niche and accomplished his task; who leaves the world better than he found it; who never lacked the appreciation of earth’s beauty or failed to express it; who looked for the Best in others and gave the best he had. -by Bessie Anderson Stanley
