The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
My ’Beautiful Father’. The Patriarch of our family. You were the warmth and light that illuminated what was the best about our family. I can't bare to talk about you in the past tense. My father is gone? No. You never will be. I have enough memories to last me several lifetimes. Your devotion to your children and grand-children, your sensitivity and gentle nature, your decency, your principles will forever remain your legacy.
Your loving daughter Daniella, son-in-law Dusan and youngest grandchild Matthew.
