HYNES Sr Doreen, OP

Doreen died peacefully on Monday March 16, 2020 after a long illness.

She was a much-loved member of our Holy Cross Congregation and a dear friend to many. During her time of active ministry, Doreen’s fidelity to her Dominican vocation found expression in education, in working for social justice and in mentoring disadvantaged children.

Doreen, faith-filled and courageous, may you now know the peace promised by the God you loved so deeply.

We express our deep gratitude to Dr Geoff Stranks and also to the staff and residents of Calvary Flora McDonald Lodge, Cowandilla, for their support and care of Doreen.
