HOUEY, Anthony Wing Cheong "Tony"

Pembroke School extends our deepest condolences to the family and other loved ones of treasured former staff member and past parent Mr Tony Houey. Tony had a distinguished career as Deputy Principal and Legal Studies and Business Teacher at Pembroke, with his service spanning from 1993 to 2023. Respected and admired by staff and students in equal measure, Tony’s brilliant legal mind shone through in the classroom – furnishing students not only with knowledge but also with strong ethical principles. Beyond the classroom, Tony’s kindness and care for others and his willingness to support all was a hallmark of his leadership. He was a man of great integrity and he stands as a model of servant leadership to this community. He became a Life Member of Pembroke School in 2018. Tony left an indelible mark on our School and his legacy will endure for all time.
