HERON, Donald Edwin

15.11.1931 – 6.2.2024

Son of Ransom and Ida Heron, brother to Florence Emily, Winifred Ida, Doris Madge, William Henry and Frank Lesley (all dec), loved brother-in-law to John and Karen Anthony.

Loving uncle to all his nieces and nephews.

Don passed away at the RHH surrounded by his family.

Dearly loved and loving husband of Margaret and father of Tony and Gaye, Bruce and Rilla, Richard and Sally-Anne, and Sally and Phil (dec).

Adoring and proud Pop of all his grandchildren, Kate and Brian, Jane and Brett, Scott and Hannah, Bianca and Marty, Felicity, James, Sam and Allie, Zoe and Max, and families, friend to the Coogan family.

Such a resilient and brave man finally at rest, so many wonderful stories he shared with family and friends, we will miss his cheeky grin, big hugs, beans, red wine and Phoebe (dog) will miss her treats.
