The University of South Australia staff, alumni and community mourn the passing of Dr Georgina Heath, a much admired and loved colleague who died on 18 March 2023.
Georgina was generous, compassionate, and humble in a way that belied her extraordinary gifts as a teacher, thinker and wonderful friend to so many.
The University will greatly miss Georgina’s intelligence, authenticity and tireless commitment to ensuring students had the opportunity to be the best they could be.
The University community warmly remembers a teacher with humour, vision and passion, who was an inspiration to students and colleagues alike.
We extend our deepest sympathy to her family and friends.
