Loving father to Matthew, Glenn (dec), Carolyn and Jacinta.

Devoted grandfather to Alec, Lucy, Jackson, Phoebe, Patrick, Benjamin, Amelia, Thomas and Alice.

Supportive friend to Donna, Melroy and Nicholas.

Youngest son of Jim and Margaret Hayes.

We wish to express our thanks and acknowledge the efforts of the many people who have supported Bob. In particular, we express our deepest gratitude to the outstanding and talented “heart” doctors, Mr. Marco Larobina, A/Prof. Justin Mariani and Dr. Brendan Flaim. To all at the Peter McCallum Cancer Centre for the past 49 years and more recently Royal Melbourne, Melbourne Private and Caritas Christi Hospitals.

We are so grateful to have been able to spend our lives with Bob.
