HAY, RONALD JAMES BOWES

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald James

Bowes Hay. Ronald suffered for several years from an illness known

as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. He passed away on 30 th December

2023 at the age of 85. He died at home in Switzerland surrounded by

his wife Jasna, to whom he was married for over 53 years, daughter

Neva, and son-in-law Sven. He was loved and will be also dearly

missed by his son Alex and grandchildren Tania, and Alistair. Alex,

Sophia, and the grandchildren will travel to Switzerland to attend the

funeral. A memorial service will be held in Melbourne to celebrate

and honour his life at a later date. Ronald was a great friend and

mentor to many, in both business and in private life.
