HANSEN Maureen Elizabeth (nee Thomson)

Born 2 July 1932 in Candelo, NSW. Raised in Orbost before moving to Melbourne.

Died peacefully at her home in Kew surrounded by her loving family on 9 February 2022.

Beloved, treasured and wonderful daughter of Ivor (dec) and Mollie (dec) Thomson

Beloved and caring wife of John (dec) for 54 years.

Loving mother of Justin, Damien, Nicholas, Elizabeth and Richard.

Loving mother-in-law of Julie, Matthew and Katherine.

Loving grandmother of Lucy, James, Benjamin, Jonathan, Jack, Olivia, Sam, Eleanor, Lara, Ted and Patrick.

A loyal, thoughtful, generous and lifelong friend to many, especially through her long involvement with the pharmacy, sailing, book, golf, cards, tennis, parish and school groups.

Thanks to everyone who supported and cared for mum so lovingly over many years, especially the family carers and the medical, nursing and palliative care teams.

May she rest in peace.
