Passed away peacefully on Sunday 12th May at the Sandown Nursing Home, Sandy Bay, Tasmania.
Bill was the son of Leslie Norman Halliday (1899-1970) and Fanny May Miller (1901-1970) of Perth Western Australia.
He was the dearly beloved husband of Valerie Lilly Thorne and the loving father of Steven, Jeffery and Greg (dec) and father-in-law of Ferry, Jenny (dec), Debbie and Kyleigh.
Bill was the much-loved grandfather of Freya, Tegan, Sam, Lewis, Katherine, Gemma, Jye and Corbin. He was also the much-loved great grandfather of Billie, Archer, Remi, Daisy, George, Piper, Sophia and Mia.
The family would like to thank Sandown Aged Care for their continued support.
Private family service later this week.
