HADLEY, Dr Ernest Peter Cutcliffe

Beloved husband of Maggi (Marjorie), father of Jenny, Simon (Andrew), Martin, Ian, Graham, Robert and Lisa, and grandfather of 12, passed away peacefully at the Austin Hospital
Peter joined the RAF in Britain as a Doctor, earning his pilot’s license, attaining the rank of Flight Lieutenant, and marrying Maggi
Peter and Maggi immigrated to Australia settling in Melbourne where Peter worked as a General Practitioner in Coburg, Fawkner and across Melbourne from 1964 until 2020
Peter’s public life included service to St John Ambulance awarded the Grand Prior of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, service to the Rotary Club of Pascoe Vale and past president and became a Paul Harris Fellow, service as a councillor for the Coburg City Council, and service as a member of the CFA at Whanregarwen receiving the CFA Service Award
Peter was dearly loved at home and in the community and we advise of his passing with the greatest of sadness
May he rest in peace, he will not be forgotten
