GUARNA, Domenico

For the past 6 months, you have been in and out of nursing homes. Every time I visited you, you always spoke about me, your son. The residents and nurses told me you were waiting for me. You spoke of Italy, The farm, Our numerous travels to Italy, Your love of Messina and your beloved parents. We may have had our differences, but over the last 6 months, we enjoyed our time together, sharing wonderful memories. Thanks for the advice you gave me as well. When I received the phone call from the nursing home I came to see you one last time. I had a dream of you meeting your parents in Italy, then your sister said to me "It's all ok, He's now back with his family in Italy and he is happy".
