The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
GUALANO. - Antonio. Thank you for the happiest years of my life, Thank you for making me your wife. Memories are all I have of a wonderful man. So until I can hold you in my arms and ask you why. Until my eyes forget to cry, Remember I will always love you and rush to your side as soon as I can. So keep the passenger seat empty, So I can ride Heaven's highway with you. - Your loving wife Carmel. Please no home visits. Thank you for your condolences. May the winds of love blow softly, And whisper for you to hear, That we will love and remember you, And forever keep you near. Our hearts ache with sad ness, Our secret tears flow, For what it means to lose you, No one will ever know. Words are few, Thoughts are deep, Memories of you, We will always keep. You left a place no one can fill, We miss you and always will. Love - Susanne, Mario and grandson Lachlan; Lisa and Joe; Anna-Marie and Jason; Michael. Please no home visits. Thank you for your condolences.
