a beautiful, hardworking man who
only thought of his family's happiness.

I can not put in a traditional message,
that is not me, instead I can give it
a try in only the best way I can.
I am having memories flood,
I see the tyre swing you made me,
the red native flowers in your garden,
the fruit trees that I still admire,
the times in your old ute you would pick me up from
high school as I did not want to be there
some days because of the bullies,
and that one time you gave me lunch money,
there were a few but I remember that day,
also when I would sit and do my homework
and you would watch television.
This is so unfair,
your were one of the bravest and strongest people I know,
you battled so hard and I respect that, and still do.
You instilled in me the love of the farm, of nature.
I can not, not say hello to animals or tear down a tree,
I went outside the other day and thought of you,
I saw how much you lived for us all.
My only relief is you are with your first born
Rocco Antonio, Uncle Tony, Great Nonna Rosa,
Great Nonno Rocco Antonio and the rest of your beloved.
May you now be at peace,
and now is your time to rest and enjoy your loved
ones that are surrounding you in heaven.

Dear Padre and Nonno,
it's too hard to put the right words
together at this moment,
we are looking at memories
through photographs and talking....
None of this seems real,
the loss we are going through we are
carrying all these sad and empty feelings,
we will forever be grateful for not
only the fresh eggs and fruit,
but this is just one of the many things you
kindly provided for us as a family,
your generosity was endless and
none of us ever went without,
but most important was the endless
love and care you showed us all,
but most of all your Grandchildren.
