Cara Nonna, we knew this day would come, we didn't want it to come but it came.

Saying our final goodbyes was one of the hardest moments in life but I am forever grateful to have spent your final night with you even though you waited until I left to take your final breath.

No words can heal the immense hurt and emptiness this has brought to our family but I will always hold our precious memories together close to my heart.

Rest peacefully with Nonno; you are both my guardian angels watching over me from heaven.
