GOW (Alie). - Mary Violet. Mum passed away peacefully on Friday Sept. 30, 2011 at 1.40 p.m., aged 82 years, surrounded by her loving sons Laurence, John and John's partner Carol, in her last breath of life. With love I became, with love I was born and the same love continued as I grew. We were not elite, but lived a simple life with our ups and downs, but with your guidance you taught us to believe in ourselves and accept what we already have and what we cannot. This radiant love that you gave always filled in the gaps. As you would always tell us "we may not have much, but it's ours and we have each other". We continued with these morals along with a few more which we have carried into our own personal development and with the fruits of our maturity we tried to return that love you gave. As did you. Right to the very end in your last moments of life, not able to move or whisper, you showed your last and final expression of love as a single teardrop that rolled down your cheek. You left us and left us with love. You will never be forgotten Mary has 8 grandsons and 9 great grandchildren from son, John. Great gratitude to the staff at the Glen Eira Nursing Home that became an extension of her family. Forever with us - Your loving son John and Carol.
