Shirley Goldsworthy ( Ives ) passed away 5th January 2024. Shirley was 86 years old,
Formerly from Mosman, Port Moresby, Killarney Heights, Norfolk Island, Westleigh and Twin Waters.
Beloved wife of Robert (Bob) , mother of Robert, Debra and Brett, grandmother to Robert, Rebecca, Jessica and Laura and great grandmother to many.
Shirley and Bob were an amazing team. They were adventurers, travellers, entrepreneurs and best of all, soul mates. Friends to many, and had so many amazing experiences together. Shirley was the first white woman to fly into Tapini PNG and so many other stories and firsts .
Shirley lead an extensive and beautiful life. An amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many.
Bob would like to thank all those who supported Shirley in her most amazing life.
Of late Dr Larsen, Dr Noble, Dr Blyth, Dr Walsh, the amazing nurses at Selangor Private Hospital, and the beautiful team at Arcare Birtinya .
Shirley was cremated on 12th January 2024 and will await her beloved partner, Bob, to be together for eternity in the ocean of infinity
