Born in Sinopoli, Prov. Reggio Calabria, Italy on July 9, 1938. 

Passed away peacefully at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital on March 25, 2021. Aged 82 years. 

Dearly beloved husband of Girolama (Mimma) and Giuseppina (deceased). Loving father and father-in-law of Carmine and Rita, Concetta and Natale Licari, Pasquale (deceased), Cosmo and Elena, Paolo, Salvatore and Gesica. Cherished Nonno of Pasquale, Philip and Heather, Giovanni and Simone, Pasquale and Angela, Antonella, Giuseppe, Carmine, Pasquale, Giuseppina, Ella, Giuseppe and Girolama. Adored Bisnonno of Fiora, Rosa, Natale, James, Isabella and Sofia. Loved son of Carmine and Maria Concetta Alvaro (both deceased). Son-in-law of Pasquale and Maria Luppino (both deceased), Salvatore Condello (deceased) and Serafina Gerace. Loving brother and brother-in-law of Domenico Alvaro (deceased), Francesca Alvaro and Domenico Antonio De Luca (deceased) Italy, Rosa Alvaro and Antonino Sacca (deceased) Italy, Cosmo and Francesca Alvaro, Domenica and Carmelo Labbozzetta (both deceased) Sydney, Grazia Alvaro and Pasquale Muzzupapa (deceased) Italy, Paolo and Rosina Alvaro. Brother-in-law of Domenica and Francesco Fontanabella (deceased), Francesco Condello, Rocco Condello and Maria-Rosa Condello. Giuseppe will be forever loved, remembered and respected by all his nephews, nieces, family and his many friends in Australia and overseas.
