Born in Oppido, Mamertina, R.C. Italy on February 4th 1927 Passed away peacefully in St. Agnes, South Australia on November 5th 2020 Aged 93 years Dearly loved husband of Maria. Loved father and father-in-law of Grace and Ross (Merenda ) Joe and Janet Gino and Pina Dearest Nonno of Mary and Matthew, Joe and Anna, Anton and Jess, Jana and Dean, Bianca and Christopher, Jay and Annina, Alicia and Tahir, Stephanie and Edin. Loved bis Nonno of Luca, Cartia, Carla, Charlize, Rosario, Sebastian and Zola. Caro Pappa The work and scarifices you made to achieve for your family, we will always remember how highly you regarded respecting others and wanting to teach us the same. We remember the beautiful love and pride you had for your family especially your grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and your soft heart. We will rememebr how you fought to stay with us, when you would cry I would say Pappa why are You crying, you would say ‘‘because I am happy’’. How blessed we have been Pappa to have you here with us, but now our hearts are broken, and I no longer hold your hand. But know Pappa, your heart is in my heart and your hand will always be in mine. Dad You came into this world with only one name but you left this world with many. Husband, Son, Friend, Brother, Cousin, Uncle but to us you carried the most important titles, DAD, NONNO, BIG NONNO, FATHER-IN-LAW. The first 3 roles are easy for most but you achieved all 4. You are a Dad who is loved and will be missed by Joe. You are a Great Father-in-law who is loved and will be missed by Janet. You are a Nonno to Anton, Jess, Jana, Dean, Bianca, Chris who all love and miss you. You are a Big Nonno to Sebastian and Zola and baby, who love you. Rest now Dad, your job is done, you started your legacy, that we will continue. You will always be missed, you will always be in our thoughts, and we have wonderful memories. Even though things got hard and you started to forget, you fought right until the end. Remembering you will be easy, but missing you is a heartache that will never go away.
