Our dearest Mother

and Yiayia Kaliroi

was an incredibly selfless,

wise and loving woman.

We are blessed to have had

her cherish our childhood

and lives.

Family meant the world to her

and the traditions she has passed

onto us will live on for our future generations

and this will forever keep her alive;

in our thoughts, our kitchens

and in our hearts.

We do and will continue

to miss her dearly

as she enriched our lives every day.

Love Olga and family.

In loving memory of

my beloved mother, Kaliroi

It is with profound sadness that I, Tim,

announce the passing of

my beautiful mother, Kaliroi.

She battled so hard till the end,

she only mentioned the word pain

in her last few hours,

she was just a fighter,

a true strong Maniatisa.

She loved her family,

she cherished the family gatherings

and loved her outings.

She was a woman

of unparalleled kindness,

a heart as vast as the ocean,

and an endless wellspring of love.

Her daily chats were a cherished ritual,

filling my life with warmth and connection.

My mothers guidance was my compass,

her cooking a taste of

heaven, our Greek coffees

and her hugs,

a sanctuary of comfort.

As I bid her farewell,

I am left with a void that

only her presence could fill.

Yet, the lessons she imparted

and the love she showered upon me

will remain forever etched in my heart.

Though she is no longer

by my side, her memory

is a source of strength

and solace.

My beautiful mum, Kaliroi,

will forever

be my guiding star, lighting

the path ahead. May she

rest in eternal peace,

cradled in the love she so

generously gave.

With love and enduring gratitude

your son Tim (agoraki mou).

Many thanks to the wonderful staff

at the RAH, especially

Doctors Dan and Hannah

and the nursing staff,

in particular Irena.
