NO LUTTO

To my darling husband Tony:

words cannot express the overwhelming emptiness and sadness that I feel.

For the last 11 months you did everything in your power to prepare me for this day, but I always hoped we would have more time.  From the moment you got sick,

you were constantly organizing things to make life easier and safer for me once you were gone; always worrying about me, your children, and especially your grandchildren.

I am so sorry that our time together was cut short, 43 years was not nearly enough, but now your suffering is over

and you can rest.

Memories of you will live on until

we meet again.  Your loving wife, Cathy.

Dad, nothing could have prepared us

for your eventual passing. The consolation that you are no longer suffering,

doesn’t diminish the pain we have in

our hearts. Thank you for being a supportive, amazing father and role model. We hope they serve the beers

real cold in Heaven.

Nonno, you called us your

“little treasures”.  You were however our greatest gift, always loving and generous, knowledgeable and kind.

We will cherish the time we shared with you, and we will never forget you.

Special thanks to Dr CP Tan,

Dr Nimit Singhal, Dr James Moore, and the dedicated staff at St Andrew’s Hospital

for their care.

Tony will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends in Australia and Italy.
