Passed away peacefully with family by his side after an intense battle with an extremely rare form of Leukaemia.
Beloved father of Julie and Brendan, father in law to Cathy and Karen.
Amazing grandpa to Ben, Josh and Will.
Past husband of Helen.
Favourite uncle to many, friend to everyone he ever met.
Dad was a master craftsman in his trade of Bookbinding and an avid yachtsman. He was a Commodore of Royal Geelong Yacht Club and a very proud honorary life member who supported giving everyone a chance to try sailing.
Dad shaped my life in sailing and his 3 grandsons as well, who all have a strong passion for the water.
He always supported all of his family and friends and nothing was ever too much trouble. He was full of life and definitely made the most of the time he had.
A huge thank you to all of his doctors and the staff at Baxter 6. You gave him another great 2 years of life.
Also the staff at Grace McKellar palliative who help him transition peacefully.
As put in a message to the family, "you have slipped your moorings and departed for the last time".
You will be missed, but not forgotten
