Born on the 23rd of February 1935 in Castellace (Reggio Calabria). Died on the 13th of October 2022 in Melbourne (Victoria).

Raffaele reunites with his wife Carmela in Heaven. He leaves behind his son Joe with his partner Lily, his son Domenic with his wife Joanne, his daughter Nancy with her husband Frank Lucisano and his son Frank. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Maria and her husband Carmelo Da Campo, Melina, Ross, Ellie and Charlotte, as well as his great-grandchild Dante. His brother Giuseppe Gangemi and family, his sister Maria and family, and his sister Angela and family. His brother-in-law Giralamo Lamonica and wife Francesca, his sister-in-law Sara and husband Rocco Lombardo, and friends and family near and far.
