Our loving Mum and Nonna,

you were the heart of our family,

and did everything with grace,

strength and a gentle soul.

With every step you took,

every word you spoke,

you wrapped us in love.

You held us together with soft words,

calm strength and guidance

we all leaned on.

You made our world feel safe

just by being in it.

Your warmth, kindness

and beautiful spirit

lit up every room you entered -

these are the gifts

you gave us every day.

With open arms

and a full heart,

you gave us everything,

never expecting anything in return.

Your love was simple

and unconditional.

You taught us how to be strong,

love without limits

and to live with grace.

Though you're no longer with us,

we still feel your presence

in the laughter

of your grandchildren

and when we gather together

as a family;

your spirit lives on in all of us.
