My Dearest Fred, We met when I was only 17. After three weeks we both knew we were going to spend the rest of our lives together. You gave me a wonderful life, filled with so many amazing memories. Your sense of humour and your confidence stood out in the crowd. You took me on holidays around the world and gave me a life I couldn’t imagine. I know I will see you in my dreams. I did my utmost best to take care of you over the hardest two years of our lives. Watching you struggle and suffer more and more every day broke my heart, but you still had the strength to make me laugh. My life will not be the same, but your memory will live on in my heart. I will miss you my husband, my man and best friend. Love forever, your wife Dalia. Dad, As a child you were the strongest, fastest and most invincible person. I thought you were Superman. As a teenager I thought I was invincible and untouchable as I was your son. Thank you for making me the man I am today. Mother nature is amazing as she throws her twist on things in life. My family and I have eaten with you and Mum every Monday for many years. Three months ago I had my accident, not being able to work and living next door, while everyone was at school or work left me to be with you and mum every day. What a blessing spending time with you. Dinner became at least three times a week which allowed me to hear even more stories about your childhood Dad. When I thought I heard all the stories. My family and I were there to hear you take your last breath. We played your beloved song the Calabrese Tarentela in the back ground. You told me last week you weren’t afraid to die Dad. You didn’t want to suffer or go to the hospital. Mum and I made sure we respected your wishes. Dad, you told me you weren’t worried about mum as you knew I would look after and be there for her. Dad I will honour what was discussed. Rest in Peace. Your son, Vince.
