The Family would like to sincerely thank the Nursing Staff
and Medical Team at the QEH for the recent
care given to Antonio, Dr Simon Hayward for his dedication
to Antonio’s medical care, ongoing support and generosity
in going above and beyond, also the Carers at Bene for their
commitment and care given to Antonio over several years

A gentle, beautiful and caring soul who will be greatly
missed and forever in our hearts

Caro Papa,
La sofferenza e finita, abbiamo provato cosi forte ad aiutarti purtroppo il tempo di lasciarci e arrivato. Nel nostro cuore rimane la fiamma del vostro amore e corraggio che ci hai insegnato. Grazie per essere stato, il migliore Padre che avremmo potuto avere. Le tue lezioni sono al sicuro con noi. Noi non ci dimentichiamo mai il dolore provato dalla tua scomparsa ma non ci dimentichiamo nemmeno quanto siamo stati tanto fortunati ad avere un Papa tanto dolce, gentile e forte nella nostra vita.

Words can not express how grateful we are for the role you played in our lives. You helped raise us and our bond was so special. You were such a trooper, you never complained and lived every day with a smile on your face. Always fun and cheeky, you loved to make us laugh and have a drink or chat with us. You are so loved and respected and always able to connect with others with your gentle, caring and engaging nature. You taught us so much, especially the importance of family. Being together with all of us always brought a smile to your face and we will forever hold
you in our minds and hearts.
We love you and will miss you.

Perderti ha lasciato un profondo dolore nei nostri cuori. Grazie per essere un grande modello per noi. Eri un uomo gentile, dolce e amabile che ha sempre messo la sua famiglia primo di tutto. Hai sempre voluto il meglio per noi. Sei arrivato in Australia con appena un centesimo in tasca in cerca di una vita migliore per la tua famiglia. Nessuna parola può dire quanto siamo grati per questi valori insegnati da te. Volevi che studiassimo in modo da non dover affrontare gli stessi problemi che hai affrontato tu. Oltre alla famiglia, la guerra era una parte importante della tua vita. La guerra ti ha trasformato nella persona rispettata e determinata che sei diventato. Questo tempo difficile ti ha dato esperienze e corraggio per combattere tutti i sacrafici confrontati nella tua vita. Hai dimostrato che anche nei momenti difficili puoi farcela. Questo noi abbiamo imparato da te. Porteremo sempre con noi i valori che ci hai insegnato.
