ELLIS, Helen Elizabeth

It is with sadness and relief Helen’s daughters and family announce her long and bountiful life of nearly 97 years passed at Rubicon Grove, Port Sorell, on August 1, 2023.

Helen married her beloved Edward and together they lived and worked through many seasons at “Torrieburn”, Campania with their daughters.

Helen lived her formative years with her parents Gertrude and Carlos Woolnough at “Kia-ora”, Pawleena with brothers Lionel and John (all dec.).

Much loved mother of daughter Elizabeth (Libby) and husband Gary Penney (Buddina, Qld). Grandma of Cass, Jo and Ben. Great Grandma of Matilda, William and Molly, and Isabel and Ruby.

Mother of Heather Ellis and friend of Peter Skirving (Hawley Beach). Loved and proud Grandma of Martin, Louise and their daughters Amali, Bridie and Emmie, and Milana. Friend of Amber and Tannon.

Dear mother and mother-in-law of Adele and Peter Giblin (Sandy Bay). Grandma of Ross and Richard and friend of Harriet.

We rejoice Helen is with Edward and her Lord.
