Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
ELLIOTT. - Phyllis on Feb. 12, 2002 (of Camperdown formerly of Doncaster). Loved mother of Lynn and Peter Elliott. Dear Grandmother of Sam and dearest friend of Ian McDonald. A gift in this world that is precious and rare, Is the love a mother and daughter share. We had that love Mum, you and I, Your memory is my greatest treasure, To love and keep in my heart forever. Although I smile and seem care free, The tears will fall where no one sees. As time goes on the emptiness grows, I'll miss you more than anyone knows. And only God knows how I feel. A wonderful mother so good and rare, The trials she went through so few could bear. Mum, you shared my love, my hopes, my tears, Thank you for those precious years.
