The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
Mum,
Memories unfold as we think of you, a real mum, through and through
You suffered in silence everyday, an illness that would not go away
But now you have no more pain for God's loving arms have healed you again
No matter where we are in this world, family knows no distance. Distance has kept us apart for 25 years but our hearts have always been one. Up in heaven with your son-in-law, Michael, looking down upon us. You are our angels now until we meet again.
Love you always, your daughter
Kerri-Anne
Our beautiful Nana,
We have nothing but wonderful memories with you, and we are grateful to be able to carry those forever. You were always supportive of your grandchildren and great grandchildren in everything we did, encouraging us to be ourselves. You made us laugh with your funny sense of humor and always told us how much you loved us. We are so blessed to have you as our Nana and now our guardian angel.
We will love you forever,
Keegan, Dylan, Chevelle, Micah, Trent
Ashley and Zachary
