26/09/1942 - 23/08/2020 Loved husband of Susan. Loved father and father-in-law to Amanda, Andrew and Wayne. Cherished Pa of Connor, Kieran, Ethan, Ashleigh and Aidan. Great grandpa of Lorelai. Brother to Rosemary (dec), Donald and David. Passed away unexpectedly surrounded by family. Taken far too soon. We thought of you today. But that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday. And days before that too. We think of you in silence. We often speak your name. Now all we have are memories. And your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake. With which we’ll never part. God has you in his keeping. We will have you in our heart. My darling John, 53 years of marriage, two beautiful children and a life full of happiness and success. We still miss the sound of your voice, the ring of your laugh, the stories you told and your presence that glowed. So yes, time changes nothing because we still miss you as much today as we did the day that you left. Your spirit lives on through the eyes of your grandchildren.
