Dearly loved husband of Lorraine (dec), beloved father and father-in-law of Karen and Max, Leanne and Dave, Anita and Justin, Ross and Todd. Proud and loving grandfather of Jan-Maree, Shane, Brad, Shaun, Chantelle, Jacinta, Rebecca, Victor, Rachel, Katrina, Justine, Sinead, Samantha, Briannon, Taylor, Jamie-Lee, Liam and 23 wonderful great-grandchildren.
Our dearest dad, Barry, mate, you were such a beautiful man that loved the land, you had a cheeky grin, you were a man of few words but who had a heart of gold. You leave behind the Downie Legacy and fantastic memories for each of us to hold. We will remember you always in our own special way. Forever we will love you and know you’re now at peace and reunited with mother. XOXOX
